You’re surrounded by all your favourite people at the lake. The sun is setting over the water, casting a golden glow across the dock. You’ve just married your best friend, and as you take it all in—the laughter of your guests, the feeling of bare feet on wood, the sound of the water lapping against the shore—you realize this is exactly how you wanted it to feel.
A lake wedding isn’t just about the place. It’s about the memories, the people, the feeling of being home.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s as effortless as a summer weekend at the cabin, I’d love to tell your story!
If there’s one place that feels like home, it’s the lake.
I grew up spending summers at my family’s camp on Loon Lake, Ontario—barefoot on the dock, catching crayfish and dragonflies, waking up to the sound of loons calling across the water. Some of my best memories are out there. Now, my family has a cabin on Duck Mountain, Manitoba, and lake life is still my favourite place to be—it’s where time slows down, where stories are told, and where the best memories are made!
That’s exactly why I love photographing cabin and lake weddings. I know what these places mean to you—the nostalgia, the effortless joy, the feeling of home. My approach is all about capturing that feeling, so when you look back on your wedding photos, you don’t just remember how it looked—you remember how it felt.
More than anything, these photos kept highlighting what we were most worried about leading up to the wedding: "Will people have fun?" Photo after photo of friends and family laughing and hugging and being together answered that question. The fact that we have these memories preserved forever because of your talent and hard work means the world to us.

Your wedding isn’t just one day—it’s the entire weekend.
It’s the night before, when your best friends arrive and the welcome drinks start flowing. It’s the easy morning on the dock, coffee in hand, feeling the excitement in the air. It’s the way the stars look different out here—brighter, more endless—while you dance barefoot by the fire, wrapped in a sweater that smells like cedar and summer.
A cabin wedding isn’t just an event. It’s a feeling.
The Weekender Package captures it all—so you don’t just remember how your wedding day looked, but how the whole weekend felt.
